It's been a while

It has been a while since I have made much of a posting on our Blog. I think it all came to a halt right around the time I was introduced to Facebook, not that I do not like Facebook but it can really be a time waster. We have had a Great Christmas and a nice New year so far, Steven took some time off of work to help deal with the B man while he was out of school. It has been a hard last few months with him and his medications and dealing with the different mood swings, we had to put in the Virginia Psychiatric center for almost two weeks to try and get him back in line. When the B man came home he was more messed up than when he went in, so we have decided to take him off of all medication and try to manage him with more natural and holistic therapies. He has been off of his medications since December 17th we have seen some really big improvements in him. He has not been a very good reader in the past and has done pretty much anything he could to get out of reading. Last night on our way home he was sitting in the back of the car reading out loud to himself, this is something that we have really ever seen him do he has also been reading to his little sister as well. I guess you could say that the medications that were supposed help him concentrate we doing the opposite they they should have been doing.

In our Family every Christmas Eve we give each other one gift o represent the gifts that were presented to the savior as his birth. While Gold frankincense and myrrh might be a little costly we chose giving a new pair of pajamas.

Our Children received many gifts for Christmas this year but nothing was better than just being together as a family.

We had many that enjoyed opening their gifts even Sonny

Some were very excited to see what was inside those newspaper wrapped gifts.

Then there were those of us that could barely keep their eyes open

While we all receive gifts at Christmas it is not the getting but the giving an the true meaning of Christmas
